Never been to Europe, but my Aunt who was rich and a sweet old lady who liked to go to Operas at the source said it was ONLY the French who treated her poorly. Even so much as sliding nasty notes under her door at night. jdn No question, the French are obnoxious. They are rude to everyone but particularly Americans. Nonetheless, they've got some fine things going for them. I think of the French as that friend who can be a real d*ck but has a great house to have a party! <g>
