Oh, the US gov't WAS complicit in this. No question of that.

Why else would US fighters be dispatched to defend the Liberty three times, then recalled?

RABIN, the Israeli PM, was the source of that statement.

In the Pueblo incident, the NK gov't claimed the Pueblo (the Liberty's sister ship) was in their territorial waters. Do you believe them with no further proof?
