Of course they would, it would be stupid not to..... Do YOU spy on your friends? What kind of evidence? Damaging for Israel or for reputation of US Navy Command? Oh, the US gov't WAS complicit in this. No question of that. Why else would US fighters be dispatched to defend the Liberty three times, then recalled? "The day fighting began, Israel had asked that American ships be removed from its coast or that it be notified of the precise location of U.S. vessels." RABIN, the Israeli PM, was the source of that statement. In the Pueblo incident, the NK gov't claimed the Pueblo (the Liberty's sister ship) was in their territorial waters. Do you believe them with no further proof?
