My point is that american companies are hiring by the thousands in india. This is an emerging middle class. Yes 100K+ tech workers is a small % of the population of india, but otoh what are the demographics of the emerging Chinese middle class?

American companies choose to set up different relationships with indian vs. chinese firms. Personally, I think the Indian deal is a better one, resulting in wholly owned subs or divisions of large companies like Msft in India. It is not the CM arrangement which is common in China, there are a number of reasons for this.

Just some observations.
