Hi Q. RoamAD doesn't have ANY customers yet. It's in development and capital raising. So no, it's not cash flow positive. I don't know of a similar system elsewhere. RoamAD is an engineered network providing about 85% coverage [other than basements, elevators and some hard to cover areas and building types]. <How many folks enter a hotspot that isn't a hotel or airport on a daily basis? 2? 5? > Auckland University has about 30,000 students on two campuses. Plus a lot of staff. Most of them enter the university precincts each day I suppose. Plus visitors. That would be a good place to cover with WiFi. < What is RoamAD doing that TMobile can't that controls backbone and site costs?> The network is the backhaul. Site costs are a major issue. Building owners want money to put antennae on their roof, supply power and have somebody going there to look after it. But building owners also want coverage, so there's a bit of dealing to be done for access. I've been around the network with my notebook and it takes a lot more than a bit of drywall to stop the signal. Big blocks of Coromandel granite in one building do a good job of messing with the signal, but even that let's a lot through.
