It seems that it's only a problem when the Administration is right of center. Then everything is part of a vast conspiracy to eliminate freedoms here at home, the rape & pillage foreign countries & the slaughter innocent civilians in order to line the pockets of big business. Anything can & will be spun into a negative, often as part of a previously planed, devious right wing conspiracy. When the party in power is left of center there's no problemo for doing essentially the same things. Then it's about national security, protecting human rights & deposing rouge regimes for the good of all the people of the world. Everything can & will be spun into a positive or it will be blamed on a vast right wing conspiracy <g>. The truth is relative to their political POV..... regardless of the facts.
