The price at which I bought the stock is my business decision and has nothing to do with the job that Larry is doing at ORCL. I predict that Larry will blow this merger or grossly overpay. It may be that PSFT would not have sold under most conditions, but they did search for a white knight. It is not that PSFT doesn't want to merge, it's that they want no part of Larry. Larry's antics have cost this company opportunity. Larry is no longer a CEO, he is a celebrity. This condition detracts from the job of CEO. He owns 25% of the company so unless he wants to leave, he will stay and enjoy his ego ride at a cost to all shareholders. Many shareholders have gotten that message and have found the exit. As long as Larry is in charge, the share price will suffer and in the end the company and its products will suffer.
