>>What bothers me is we entered a war under false pretenses

Again that is YOUR opinion and not a statement of fact.

you sound just like any Democrat...I see the DNC talking points memo has made the rounds...this is nothing more than a political witchhunt.

A BLATANT DOWDIFICATION
Add “Dowdification” to your spell checker. The base of the word comes from NY Times columnist Maureen Dowd who likes to remove essential portions of a quote in order to change the meaning of that quote. Dowd’s favorite Dowdification target is George Bush. Thus far the leftist media has shown that this is a perfectly legitimate journalistic practice.

The latest Dowdification comes to us from a commercial now being run on several television stations. The commercial was bought and paid for by the Democratic National Committee. The commercial is entitled “Truth.” In that commercial you see George Bush during his 2003 State of the Union Speech. In the clip the president says “Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.”

You see what the Democrats have done here, don’t you? They have removed the first five words from Bush’s quote: “British Intelligence has learned that ….” This is a direct, blatant and dishonest attempt to change the complete meaning of what Bush said. Instead of attributing the finding to British intelligence, as Bush did, the Democrats seek to change the meaning of Bush’s quote by making it a definite statement of fact, rather than an attribution to another party.

Hopefully, none of you are surprised.
