FWIW....the number that I would like to see to contradict Samsung/MOT's reports is Unicom's CDMA sub growth in June. Ramsey posted an article which stated that sub growth was averaging 30,000 new subs a day and then jumped to ~45,000 when pre-paid was launched in select cities.

A number close to one million would at least show that end-user demand is going on schedule....even if the effects arent being seen yet by Q's customers.

Thanks for your clarification of what they are saying. <g>
If I'm not mistaken, QCOM's management is on the record forecasting 23 mln for this quarter. Not 20, not 25, but 23. On July 24 (the morning after the earnings announcement), after they come in with this exact number, SG will no doubt spin it as a negative (that they hadn't made 25).
