Wade: StockCharts.com- On the real time I have some minor problems occaisionally in the mornings with the updates, minor and infrequent- many times refreshing the chart again solves the problem. I use a "favorites" view in "summary" format. Clicking on the "name" field opens a new window which I place in my secondary monitor, clicking any other name uses the same window, so I have a "quote" window (use intraday data format) and a chart window. I have had no problems with the prices displayed using this view, even when the charts don't update with the right price. I do not like their quotes- no bid/ask, but if I am really interested in an issue this is easily available from my broker. I have several different configurations (custom settings drop box)

No streaming updates "was" a problem, until I realized that I could refresh anytime-and I usually looked at something else anyway!

I agree, it is hard to make the change, and does take time to get up to speed- My fear was that I would wake up some morning and IQ would not work and there would be no support-at a market pivot- I would be starting anew anyway. My theory is that IQ has been purchased (through a front) by a competitor and they will "milk it" and then let it die.

Good luck trading

Joe
