Wayne, I think the Neo-Cons are as heterogenuous as liberals. They are like tent revival churches that split off. For some, abortion is the hot dot, while for others it is immigration or something else. Some believe in deficit spending to force smarter spending choices (I have never figured out how they connected the dots on this one. It reminds me of "I, Claudius" where Claudius decided that turning the empire over to Nero would be so horrible that folks would insist on a republic. <G>) while others are more traditionally conservative fiscally. Most hate taxes, but not all are war mongers, as Paul seems to believe.

I am not really sure where the Prez stands on these things. Rummy, Cheney, Ashcroft, Powell and Wolfie are all easier to figure. Dubya seems to take the opinion of the last smart guy who talked to him.
