The machine is in full motion.

We cancelled our TV service about 2 months ago, and are VERY happy with our decision. It felt damned good to say "NO" to the man! Heh. ;-)

Oooops - Capital One Q2 profit $286.8M or $1.23 a share (COF) By Luisa Beltran
NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Capital One Financial Corp. said Wednesday that second quarter earnings improved to $286.8 million, or $1.23 per share, compared to $213.1 million, or $0.92 per share, for the same time period in 2003. Earnings tracker Thomson/First Call had expected $1.10 for the quarter. Capital One (COF) said it continues to expect EPS of at least $4.55 for 2003. Its managed charge-off rate dropped to 6.32 percent for the quarter, down from 6.47 in the first quarter.
