Evidence of this is the continued elimination of jobs. In the public traded companies this can be said to make their bottomline numbers, but it is also happening in non-public companies. That means that it is a survival thing. So if we have expanding costs and money supply and yet are also having our buying power stunted, that ain't a great recipe for economic growth. Unemployed people simply don't spend money....at least not for too long.
