Lizzie,re:"aren't coming back ever". Why should them?
The 'snowball' is gathering steam, who/what can stop this
natural force from ROLLING OVER A LOT OF DEAD BODIES.
Get out of the way, be a mortgage broker, load officer,
RE agents, handyman, do anything else but 'that'.
This happens to many other industries before. This is
a natural disaster, like tornado, hurricane. GET OUT OF THE
WAY BEFORE YOU GET KILLED.
AG is only interested to prime the military machine.
If ENRON is any indication how the adminstration work,
expect MORE money from AG.
Repeat after me, expect:
1. more wars from Bush. (this one is awaiting confirmation
signal)
2. more money from AG. (this one is becoming obvious, we
just cannot afford not to build up the military, and like
the jobloss, it's another SNOWBALL delivered to USA from
you know who! )

Big deficits always happen as the economy comes out of a downturn.

There's a lot of time and debates between now and Nov 2004. It remians to be seen how things will shape up for Bush and the Dems, and whoever they end up nominating.
