This is similar to the "logic" that the government of India uses in its Kashmir issue. That the terrorists killed X number of civilians, and so it is "OK" for India to kill X/10 number of civilians, that India is the lesser evil... and so on and so forth.

The result is that India is bogged down in a guerrilla war that has not ended since it began in 1948....

Is that supposed to be justification for Bush to try to beat him? You know very well that Bush did not make the case of invading Iraq because he was trying to keep future Iraqis from being killed by Saddam.
