I think China's rise has been inevitable from the beginning really. That huge population, and the fact that it's very educated and intelligent, makes them a major power. And the fact that they're allowed unfair trade advantages is just the icing on the cake. I am also concerned about the books balancing with all the baby boomers getting ready to retire in the next decade and huge deficits already in place. Taxes will be raised at some point, whether it's income taxes or something else. Maybe it'll be like England when the Beatles were big and they were paying more than 95 percent in the top tax bracket...
