it seems like every software job in california has been outsourced to india, this is the key reason margins at misc technology firms are so high at this juncture, imo. When they say "cost cutting" led to gains on the income statement, what they are really saying is, "we outsourced customer service, IT, operations to india, our factory is already in china so the only employees we have left are a skeleton crew the executives and everybody else makes so little we are immensely profitable". This is california, and it hasn't taken hold in the rest of the country but it is coming and thats why the congressmen are yelling at Greenspan. Of course if the US outsources most of its labor force it will be something of a downward spiral for most of the economy, and Greenspan knows that.

Well lets see what tomorrow brings in the jobs report.
