Perhaps LE will step down and pass control on to others,
(as he has done in the past).... To answer your 2nd question, Yes, I think he is going through the motions,
- but - consider the results of the takeover of PSFT
1. If ORCL takes over PSFT:
ORCL will continue to drop and then show a sharp
rebound (because there is now no uncertainty in the
empty minds of the "analysts", ie, perhaps they will
do some real thinking.

2. If ORCL drops the takeover, read 1. above.

IMO, regardless of how this "thing" resolves itself,
ORCL is going to be a winner over the long haul.

I 1st purchased ORCL @ 7.50 (Oct 2002), Bought more @ 10.
bought more @ 11. bought more @ 12. So, I'm long, very
long.
