Lots of presidents have "jeopardized" the country (imo)- but obviously they didn't in their opinion. When you look back historically you can see points where presidents made very bad decisions, but that cannot be the test, imo. We have to be careful what grounds we use to bring down a president- I think bringing down Clinton was stupid, and foolhardy, and set a recklessly low standard of operations. I would not to do to Bush, what I would not have wanted done to Clinton (even though, imo, this matter is far more serious- and I know we agree on that). Still, we must remember that whatever we do to Bush, will be done to democratic presidents, and we must be sure that we do not see policies we simply disagree with, as treason.

I think we basically agree, though.
