One of the funniest furniture pieces I ever saw was a "Shaker style" entertainment center for your TV and VCR...

The Shakers were an American religeous group, which somewaht like the Amish, avoided excessive technology...

Profitably - Consider going long Ethan Allen, and traditional furniture retailer now beign run by an Indian importing Chinese furniture... a turn around in consumer spending would be needed.

It's a retailer, so wait until retailers are disliked...

Thanks for the article. I believe the majority of the wood used is from other countries, if not from the US, then from other countries like Malaysia, Indonesia... And the profit margin for China is thin due to the size of furniture and long journey. But the antidumping investigation will end up nothing. After all, the labor itself in China is much cheaper compared to the US.
