Aside who said that the US is alive ?? Over 400,000 claims each week is not a sign of recovery - yes it is a lagging indicator for how many weeks by now ??

US has 10.6% unemployment similar to Europe ...... BLS just does not report it as a headline

Flow of funds is probably a lot more important than some economic numbers. The fact is if you look at the dollars flooding the globe, it doesn't matter 2 shites what the Eurozone economy does. Look at the rate differential, and the rate of printing. The dollar is going much lower vs most major currencies IMO.
