Remember when Mr. Powell and Ms. Rice defended Mr. Bush on the uranium issue last week? It made me think about the 1970s. Tenet was hung out in the wind to try to survive on his own. However, I think that either Mr. Powell or Ms. Rice may be in line if this does not blow over. Mr. Powell is a bit dangerous. If he is shown the door, he may finally admit he is a moderate democrat and create problems for the administration. On the other hand, Ms. Rice can be blamed fairly easily because of her position. However, she is very close to Mr. and Mrs. Bush. If they could just find a Lieutenant Colonel somewhere to take the fall.
