Here's what I've come up with: geology.cr.usgs.gov Barrels of oil equivalent (BOE).-Gas volume that is expressed in terms of its energy equivalent in barrels of oil. For this assessment, 6,000 cubic feet of gas equals 1 barrel of oil equivalent (BOE). This seems to go along with $5/MCF NG = $30/bbl crude. ******** I'm curious as to other resources on the 8:1 ratio. TIA for any replies. :)
