well... if that bill were to pass (and it won't) it would certainly stop ME... . . . . . . from wanting to live in this country. leavenworth, kansas is not my favorite part of the united states. too flat. Content like movies, music and software are the country's No. 1 export, but the creators are being hurt by people who use technology to get the content for free, Conyers said. it would be much cheaper to pay these companies their assumed losses out of the US treasury than to support 50 million new inmates in prison at $40k per head per year, ($2 trillion?). "morons" is right. if i stayed in this country, i'd rather be in prison than out. because... 1) i'd be with all my friends and my children. and... 2) i don't think i could afford the extra $10,000.00 per year it would cost every unincarcerated person in america to pay to keep the extra 50 million people incarcerated. (and something tells me the millionaires like ken lay and dick cheney wouldn't kick in their share)
