National Security Council Members - Robert Joesph is reportedly the one who pushed the Niger lie, and Rand Beers now works for John Kerry. The White House is denying everything. But not too smart IMHO. Smells like a big cover-up to protect Rice, Rumsfield, Cheney and GW himself. Tenet seems the least culpable of the five.

Stephen Hadley Deputy Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs
