Isn't that sad? I hope it doesn't hurt too many people. We've seen some tenseness in some of the contractors we know- they just aren't getting the big jobs they used to get. It's hard when people call Mr. X and ask him about jobs- because his company isn't hiring either.

While I do not want Bush for another go round, I really hope the economy doesn't crater, even if that would get rid of him. It would destroy too many people we know- who are too highly leveraged.

I want the economy to turn around. Unfortunately those in the know predicted if Bush won, it would spell disaster for the stock market. I know that idiot Greenspan is trying to undo the damage he did to this country and the world economy..It doesn't seem to be working that well. With Bush in office giving incentives to big corps to move out of this country taking jobs with them, I can't see how the economy will recover until he's gone. IMO, Bush doesn't care if this country fails if our borders are unprotected because all our troops are overseas protecting his oil interests. I think he's doing the Mexican presidente thing and lining his coffers. Don't forget, Bush is the one who wanted to be given $50 billion for his personal use right after 9/11. In retrospect, we should have paid that ransom for our country, then maybe he'd have gone far, far away and we wouldn't be in this mess.
