both but mostly the selection of the "correlation" bit

Because there was no correlation?

if I knew the answer then I probably would not ask, would I?

People ask questions that they know the answers to. Rhetorical questions.

niether made any sense

You have serious comprehension difficulties.

I thought I answered - there is nothing wrong with jamming the freq. and there is no such thing as band in a war time situation

there is nothing wrong with jamming the freq. and there is no such thing as band in a war time situation

Only if you believe the intention to jam US communications is considered good.

No such thing as bands in war?.....we have broad band jammers....Bands exist whether there is a war or not.

Pre-attack reconnaissance. Israel says there was no pre-attack reconnaissance. Any aircraft we saw, they say, were high in the sky carrying troops to the battlefield. Not so. Here is an Israeli reconnaissance airplane that circled the ship about an hour before the attack. The pilot was heard reporting to HQ that he saw an American flag and men sunning themselves on deck.

Israel claims they mistook our ship for the out-of-service Egyptian horse carrier El Quseir
and that we brought the attack upon ourselves by operating in a war zone without displaying a flag. Not so.
We were in international waters, far from any fighting, and flew a bright, clean, new American flag.

White flags....It doesn't matter on whether there was or was not a white flag.

The Liberty crew asserts that the attack on life boats was obviously deliberate.

Israel asserts that the life boats were not targetted. Any life boats that were hit, was unintended.

It's down to two different claims, one by the Liberty crew and one by Israel. White flags or not, doesn't matter. It's who you believe is credible.

I believe the crew.

The crew asserts they have intercepts of communications one hour before the attack, where an Israeli reports back to HQ, that there is a ship, flying an American flag, with personnel sunbathing.

Israel denies that there was any prior [to the attack] intelligence collection on the Liberty.

One hour after the intercepted comm [which Israel denies] unmarked aircraft appear; jam US frequencies, hit the ship with napalm and shoot out the antenna system. They claim that the vessel is not showing an American flag and is assessed to an Egyptian vessel that they believe to be a horse carrier [though the vessel had been decommissioned.

Israel is asserting that an Egyptian horse carrier in international waters is a target of significant importance to use unmarked attack aircraft and an Israeli torpedo boat during the war with Egypt.

You might find that to be a credible explanation. I don't.

Jonathon Pollard was arrested in 1986. Israel denied that Pollard was an agent of Israel up until 1998. Twelve years they denied that Pollard was an agent.
