The other real reason is the reason why.

There was no threat, but lots of oil. The same crew that started the war is poised to get rich from weapons and the oil that Iraq used to own. It's not just that Junior sacrificed many people on a bad decision, he did it for profit.

I agree with you that these are real issues. I did not see the "imminence" but supported the war any way. It does bother me that "imminence" has been held up with such importance. I value unilateralism when you can get it but not above the need to take a stand against brutal despotism. I disagree that there is no post-war plan. There is a very good one, but there are many unknowns that have to be addressed as circumstances dictate.

Agreed. There was no imminent threat to the US from Iraq. That is why Bush should have been given a blank check to invade Iraq.
