Hawk, all this started because of September 11 and war on Al-Qaeida. But it is ending up as a mission to democratizing Iraq.

The terrorists know what is called is a tactical retreat. They first tried to bring down the Twin Towers in 1993. They failed. They retreated, they planned meticuously and they executed it again on September 11. So I think you are racing to a conclusion on the War on Terrorism. We have not won it, it is not done. We have not scratched the surface yet. The problem is so huge that the US would need the cooperation of the world, such as the UK, France, Germany, Russia etc. But now that the Bush "oil conglomerate" has put itself into gear and attacked Iraq in search of oil, I doubt if we can work with the world to combat terrorism.

The Iraq war has lead the US astray. And the longer the troops stay on in Iraq to do police duties, the further would the US go astray.
