PLEASANTON, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Commerce One Inc. said it expects third-quarter license revenue of $850,000 and services revenue of $4.6 million.
A year ago, the company reported license revenue of $8.5 million and services revenue of $17.9 million, for a total of $26.4 million in 2002 third-quarter revenue.

In a press release Wednesday, the business-to-business company also said it expects a $14 million cash balance for the same period, with $10.5 million to $ 11 million of that cash unencumbered.

In addition, the company expects to implement a two-week furlough plan for certain U.S.-based non critical employees.
