Hey Nadine...the "obvious conclusion"....the moron lied so he could get his revenge for the attempt on the life of daddy and he is surrounded by those that thought getting rid of Saddam anyway was a good idea so we could bring "a mkt based economy and democracy" to the middle east, i.e. we have better control of the place. If memory serves,Tenet was cautious in his conclusions, right up till he was plunked behind Bush at the UN to back up Bush's statements.
