The problem with Free is nobody believes free is free any more!

It wasn't "free" to create. It took hard work on the part of the creators of the material. There were other people in the value chain who committed their time and energy to producing the product you enjoy.

Intellectual property is only "free" to a thief.

Just because material is housed on an edu domain does not mean it is being used for educational purposes.

Property rights are the foundation for all individual freedom. Expropriation is theft.

I guess these opinions make me one of the Powers That Be. Hmmm, I think I like being a Power That Is. -g-
