I know about the JDL, Kach, and Kahana. Maybe, it is a case of semantics. These Jewish groups may be called "extremist" by the ADL, but they are not really "extremist" when you compare them to neo-Nazis, the group they were coupled with in your article.

Certainly, I done condone the murder of Rabin. It was a heinous crime. It is appropriate to call the murderer an extremist. I don't believe he was a member of a group that advocated his action.

I think you should continue on. You have not caused me to change my "initial" position. I suggest you concentrate on numbers (in the "extremist" group) and actions (of the "extremist" group).
