Saddam was the US puppet. His strings got crossed up and he stopped dancing to Uncle Sams fiddle.

Saddam is a mad man. No doubt. So was the Shah. But as long as they carried out the bidding of the US they were supported and tolerated.

I really don't know why you responded to my post with this question. You did know that Saddam was supported by the US for decades, right?
