My friend is the head of a major university laser physics department. He's also a Republican. He works in a very specialized field and knows all the scientists on SDI personally. They get together and talk shop several times a year. The word is SDI has "nothing"n despite being fully and overly funded. Hey, Kerry backs SDI so this is not a partisan issue.
