If you volunteer to work for a candidate you get to meet the candidate and his top people. If you're information oriented like me and you aren't shy, you start carying on correspondance with the top guys. They appreciate intelligence help. and a lot of people on these threads have been helpful too. Even the right-wingers who pass along the phony lies and trumped-up criticisms. I pass all that along to make sure they have a response for it. I am not however paid by the campaign. I do this out of love of country. Bush I believe is the worst president we've had since Nixon. Even worse than Nixon really. At least Nixon could do diplomacy and the economy.
