That Redhook brewery was a nice comfortable place as I remember -- heck the whole place is full of BrewPubs

"Anyone know of a decent place to get drunk in Seattle?"

You rang? <g>

Head a couple blocks uphill on 1st Ave toward Pike Place Market. Take a left on Pike. Down some stairs on your left is a very cozy little place called the Bistro. Good Scotch selection. If you want old school, head over to the Camlin Hotel. They have an indoor/outdoor rooftop lounge. Bob Guccione Jr. interviewed Kurt Cobain there. Or...if you like microbrews, the Elysian Brewery makes really nice ones. They are about a mile up the hill on Pike at 13th. Cool vibe there.

A quart of Thunderbird in your motel room will do it.
