U.S. Releases 37 Guantanamo Prisoners -Official
(Reuters) - The United States released 37 prisoners who had been held at a prison at the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, where terrorism suspects captured in Afghanistan and elsewhere have been held without charges, a senior defense official said on Friday. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the released prisoners were being transported to Afghanistan. The official also said "less than 10" other prisoners were being transported to Guantanamo to be held there. The official would not state the nationality of the prisoners involved or the reason for the release.

saw "28 Days" last night
I give it a B+, no more
well done though
I liked Mailer, chained up in the estate courtyard
looked like a rabid dog
might have smelled like one also
a fitting end to the story
I wonder if all military guys fight so they can get poody

by the way, morale disruption will be commonplace soon in the Iraqi war theatre
they are announcing crackdowns to insubordinate bitching & moaning
