Kb, to tell you the truth, my studies have not shown very much.

re "safe haven" trades

Since the bubble burst there is a 60:40 chance of an up day on the day directly following the 90% down volume day, which is something, I guess. But the "N" is pretty small.

re Lowry's theories

The theory seems to be dependant upon one having access to both the volume and points gained/lost data. The latter does not seem to be available anywere.

I've trade a whole bunch of ways to come up with a substitute for the points gained/lost data, but without any luck.

Maybe the best thing I can report is that if anyone ever says "Hey, we had a 90% down volume day, therefore ... (x,y,z), we can say "I don't think so."
