Now you wouldn't mind if I asked for a little proof of that, would you? It takes a strong organization to keep a leader secreted away and safe when that leader has a bounty on his head of $25 million. And then there is the fact that al Qaeda recently blew up some buildings in Riyadh and Casablanca within the matter of a week's time. Frankly, I am more and more of the opinion that all the "top" al Qaeda captures about which Bush brags are just more spin.**It doesn't change the fact that this war has alienated some of our allies and many people throughout the world. Like the frogs? They weren't our friends in the first place. Good riddance. Yeah, well, we suddenly want them back......we need their troops in Iraq. And just for the record, they have been better friends then the Saudis or the Egyptians or the Turks so I wouldn't be so quick to turn your back. Oh wait, your president already has and that's why we're short troops in Iraq. All the fluff the right and its minions are coming up with to explain away this war is simply excuses for the war's horrendous cost to this nation in terms of lives, money and prestige. Lives. You got any idea how many Americans died in the Revolutionary War? Civil War? WW1? WW2? Korea? Vietnam? I see.....because so many have died in wars past, its okay for a few more to die in Iraq. Apparently, to the right, they're just more bodies. This ain't a war, boy. It's a church cakewalk. Tell it to they guy who got shot in the head last week. Oh wait, you can't.......he died!
