Hello Pezz, Today’s Report: I have just added to my existing China Mobile finance.yahoo.com position at HKD 21.3/shr and established a China Unicom finance.yahoo.com spot at HKD 5.65/shr. I think it is still early days before their implicit value are recognized in an explicit fashion. Shares and options are available in the US (CHL and CHU respectively). Logic? Besides simple allocation to emerging/China market, I applied typical Chinese math;0) you know, where if each of the 260 mm Chinese subscriber uses one more minute per month, that would be so many cents in my pocket:0) Chugs, Jay

Hello Pezz, Tonight’s Report: (a) I sold these Genentech at USD 78.8/shr to make satisfactory gain over a few weeks … Message 18958019 <<May 19th, 2003 … Bought some Genentech uk.finance.yahoo.com at the newly inflated momo price of USD 53.79, wanting to feel participative>> (b) I bought more NEM, outright, substantially increasing my current NEM allocation, without issuing own currency called slow-motion Puts, but just a straight exchange of what I reckon to be worth-less USD cash for what I suppose to be worth-more NEM shares, at USD 33/shr. I cannot afford to dilly dally and move willy by the nilly at such times. Chugs, Jay

Hello Pezz, Did you notice that I had the good fortune of having added to my NEM Message 19129250 in a nick of time and scratch of moment, at the most psychological moment, in a hurry, to the point of almost panic? Strange words are floating around in my mindscape, words like ‘TeoTwawKi’, ‘TPonRr’, ‘NToeAwsBe’, along with weird concepts, such as ‘speed of light’, ‘event horizon’, ‘collapse singularity’. At this moment, Q is furthest from my thoughts. I leave that to Maurice, watching him watching NZD interest rate cut of 25 basis points, in thanks to his idol Greensputin, and his hero BurnAndKaput. If my memory serves, I believe you also bought some NEM recently, posting something about 'just in case'. Chugs, Jay
