The Prime Minister of Britain is going to have to produce his Nigerian Scam Letters. His insistence that his letter is a good one and that Joseph will send the money is not convincing. His speech to Congress was very low on facts. France and Germany opposed the Iraqi invasion, this is "good intelligence" which Mr. Blair apparently did not have. Prime Minster Blair is so far out of focus on this issue that he actually said this to the Congress of the United States <<And I believe any alliance must start with America and Europe. If Europe and America are together, the others will work with us. If we split, the rest will play around, play us off, and nothing but mischief will be the result of it. >> He is definitely referring to some other Europe than the one in this world, where a tunnel connects France to England and France did not support the invasion of Iraq. Canadians were not fooled by his speech, designed as it was for consumption in America. I am not sure he would have been booed off the stage, but Canadians know the truth about England and France. England is connected to France by a tunnel and Joseph is not sending the money. I believe Prime Minister Blair has made a very serious miscalculation, average people are much smarter than he apparently believes, I am sure he will get a warm homecoming. The liberty to believe Joseph, the freedom to blame the CIA. If Prime Minister Chretien was aware of doctored intelligence sources, he made a very wise decision to forego this conflict. What is the sense of winning a battle if it escalates the war.
