I'm sure the usual cast of morons will be here to claim that Israel kills more civilians than Hamasssss. Geez give me a fricken break!!!!

Even by Israel's accounting that statement is true.

At least I made it a tougher standard by looking at percentages of civilian vs. military. If you take absolute head count. Israel easily beats out all the Palestinian groups combined for civilian casualties. ...Keep in mind that the ratio of Palestinian deaths to Israeli deaths stays in the range of 3 to 1.

US warns Israel on civilian deaths
May 3 2003

The United States has urged the Israeli military to exercise restraint after a two-year-old boy and 11 other Palestinians were killed in a raid on a Gaza neighbourhood on Thursday............

Witnesses said six of the dead were civilians, including the two-year-old, a 13-year-old boy and a 17-year-old, and six were militants. In the West Bank, three Palestinian gunmen were killed in clashes with Israeli troops in two separate incidents.

In May, as Israeli human rights groups sought a supreme court order barring soldiers from seeking protection behind human shields after their widespread use during the army's assaults on Jenin and other West Bank cities, the military admitted the policy was illegal and said it would stop.

The petitioners also presented evidence of further abuses committed by the Israeli army against Palestinian civilians, reported by Physicians for Human Rights - Israel. On 26 January 2003, five Palestinian ambulances were stopped by Israeli soldiers near Nablus. The ambulance workers were then forced to stand between the soldiers and a group of stone-throwers. While the medical personnel were being used as human shields, a child, on his way to receive medical treatment, was kept waiting in one of the ambulances.

But this is just one of several distractions that AK wanted to put forward because he can't deal with the fact that Israel was jamming US frequencies. So we spin about anti-semetic stuff, Hamas, children, red flags, green flags and just about every other thing he can think of except that Israel was jamming US frequencies.

This might help...

Israel uses excessive force
Human Rights Watch Report
15 January 2003

Human rights developments

The violence that erupted beginning in September 2000 intensified in 2002. Civilians increasingly paid the price for repeated, egregious violations of international humanitarian law by the Israel Defense Forces (IDP) and Palestinian armed groups. At least 1,949 Palestinians and 637 Israelis were killed between September 2000 and late October 2002, the majority civilians, including 292 Palestinian and seventy-nine Israeli children. New patterns of abuse arose, and old ones intensified. Pernicious practices that had been diminishing were revived. ......

292 Palestinian children to 79 Israel children! Not bad for a group [Israel] that tries hard to limit civilian casualties.....more than three times.

re: It always amazes me how the freaking morons oo this thread can condone Hamas using others' children to be suicide bombers

and do not forget that hamas at one point targeted specifically Israeli children. Yet the moron questions everything that Israel or US do and openly approve killing of children.
