Ed, when Winston Churchill won the war for the British, the British knew very well that keeping the peace is a different ball game. They voted Churchill out of office and vote in Mr. Attlee.

Similarly, it is one thing to win the war. But now it it time for the Washington hardliners to step aside and yield to those who can go and win the peace. Colin Powell needs to go in there and get the UN to act collectively. And for that to happen, the US needs to share some of the Iraqi oil also. My. Cheney, tell you Texas oil magnate to see the light of the day. American blood is surely more precious than Iraqi oil.
