The west (particularly the British who were in charge of much of the former Turkish empire by international agreement) didn't use its military might to establish Israel. In fact, after agreeing to a Jewish national home, they went on to use their military might to try to prevent it by restricting immigration even while the Nazis were exterminating Jews.

Feisel agreed to Jewish return to a national home in Palestine early on but broke his promise.

Another thing the west did with their military might was to break up the Turkish Empire which ruled the Arabs and give the Arabs independent countries which is what they promised Feisel to do. The British kept their word to Feisel and the Arabs. Feisel broke his. But his sons still got kingdoms in Iraq and Jordan anyway.
