No coalition can be built around a US policy in which the US unilaterally decides to invade countries at will and does not allow itself to be challenged in any way as to the need for the invasion or how the consequences will be dealt with -- that is what I meant by <<'It was a matter of US policy that turned the world against us.' - #reply-19125688>> As a result of the failure to build a real coalition, the Us adopted the expression "coalition of the willing" -- meaning a group of countries that would simply fall into line and go along with the US.
