I think that's wonderful. Someone should understand those parties- I certainly don't.

No way will i ever join a political party .... been tempted a number of times, campaigned for one here several times, given money to it, and know a number of people in it, it was called Reform and is now called Canadian Alliance, it's sort of what your republican party would be if it suddenly found itself north of the forty-ninth .... smaller guvmint, lower taxes, self-responsibility, honour, Queen, and country, that sort of thing But there is always something in its factions that just makes me puke .... once it was a thinly veiled racism, that was back in the eighties when it was being started up, today it is way too many of them saying well we must join the PNAC bunch in whatever they want, because they control Washington and dictate it so .... in each case of this nature, they have chosen distinctly un-canadian positions, and lost my support where they could have had it easily on a great number of other issues You just can't buy a package wrapped up by somebody else ..... but then, it is also true that you are supposed to be able to get inside one of these things we call 'parties', and bend it somewhat to your will ..... but it looks like i don't believe that to be possible today, having started this post saying i'll never join one, lol
