RE>> never underestimate the greatness of capitalism.
Keep in mind it's the great proliferation of index funds taht creates the
Mo Mo effect in big caps ( within a market cap weighted index )
---
Then as we look indexing over real good we find
Indexing also spreads risk in a way that good stocks suffer
more than they should in down turns, and some really sick
companies can get rewarded more than they should during
up turns.
In effect Indexing is the side of capitalism..that is communistic
& it's a big part of our market particularly in the so called blue chips.
---
Well all taht aside..the NDX has it's Mo Mo going positive
at this time..how ever it does not have a lot of the really
big Caps in it..( only 2 )..
The Mo Mo of most of the big caps in the S&P 500 has not kicked in ( as of
yet...) they have improved but not started to lead.
