Oh right, silly me, forgot for a moment that It's Always The Beeb's Fault, nach Nadine The Beeb reported that their information came from a "senior intelligence officer". Quote unquote. Kelly was not an intelligence officer at all, he was a former weapons inspector. Big difference. Nor, by his own testimony, did he have the faintest idea that he would be used as the sole source for an article acusing the government of doctoring its intelligence reports. Both the misrepresentation of the source and the sole-sourcing of such a serious charge were thoroughly unprofessional.
