When sunshine was applied to the Niger/Iraq uranium contract, that lie fell apart.
1. The SOTU said Britain had said the Iraq had attempted to buy uranium from Niger.

2. Tony Blair confirmed that his gov't had in fact advised the US gov't of this in his speech before Congress last week. Not only that, but he said his gov't stood by its statement.

3. But Bush lied.
