This is an update on playfair.

Mosher who studied the soil anomaly came to the conclusion that because it was orientated along a fault line axis among other things, it could only be from a bedrock source.

A 2.5 Mgal residual gravity was found about 300 meters deep on the edge of the limestone and granite. An inversion of the data gave them a drill location. They had enough $ for two shallow holes to find the edge of the granite and two deep holes to find the ore.

They found the granite . Stepped back to drill into the contact point . Stayed in limestone all the way. The limestone at depth was increasing in hydrothermal alteration and anomalous values for the metals. They thought they were close.
